An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Annapolis Farewell, the 1935 Alexander Hall Maryland Naval Navy military academy cadet melodrama (about a retired Navy commander stationed at the Annapolis Navy Academy who longs "for the old Navy"; he learns that one of the ships he commanded is about to be decommissioned and towed out to sea to be used for target practice, and he sets out to save his old ship!) starring Sir Guy Standing, Rosalind Keith, Tom Brown, Richard Cromwell, Louise Beavers and "The Midshipmen of U.S. Naval Academy" NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
