Shannon") starring Roy Rogers, George 'Gabby' Hayes, Maris Wrixon, Bob Nolan and The Sons of the Pioneers, and Trigger (who was not yet billed on first release posters in this early Roy Rogers film). Note that The Sons of the Pioneers were a popular singing group who appeared in many Roy Rogers westerns, but this movie was named after them! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This three-sheet was printed in 2 sections and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). very good. Poster had small paper loss on some foldlines and at some crossfolds. It had minor smudges and creases throughout, as well as some tears on some foldlines and some border defects, including pinholes in the corners. The poster is well linenbacked, and the restored defects are somewhat noticeable, but not really distracting. Please note that this poster was backed onto a much thinner than usual linen backing, and that the restorer did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster.
