Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Life of the Party, the 1930 Roy Del Ruth romantic pretty-girls-searching-for-rich-husbands comedy (about two girls, one a gold-digger, and one a "good" girl, and one searches for a rich husband, and one for true love, and they both kind of get what they are looking for) starring Winnie Lightner, Irene Delroy, Jack Whiting, Charles Butterworth, Charles Judels, and John Davidson. Note that the plot of this movie was "borrowed" (and expanded to three girls) and became the plot of "How to Marry a Millionaire", starring Marilyn Monroe.

Condition: very good to fine. 1 1/4" tear in the top edge of the card slightly extending into the woman at left's hat; tack hole in the lower left blank border; very minor creases around the edges of the card
