What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. At some point before linenbacked, someone trimmed parts of the blank borders, but only blank white paper was affected, and the poster measured 26" x 39 1/2". Otherwise, the poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some small tears and tiny paper loss on parts of the folds, and a few pinholes and small stains around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer did not replace the small missing portions of the blank borders.
