An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm]) (Learn More) When the Line Goes Through, the 1973 Clyde Ware romantic backwoods West Virginia melodrama ("Love waits at the end of the line") starring Martin Sheen, Davey Davison, Beverly Washburn, Jim Boles, Tillie Allen, Dick Barton, and Vicki Carroll. Note that this movie was written and directed by a West Virginia native, Clyde Ware. It is completely forgotten today, but those who have seen it say that it has sensational performances, especially by Martin Sheen. At this time Martin Sheen had made a name for himself in TV appearances and on Broadway, but he was far from a star (and at 34, it seemed that his chance at stardom might have passed). After he made this movie (but before it was released) he starred in Terrence Malick's Badlands with Sissy Spacek, and his electrifying performance in that movie made him a star!
