a lot of 2 Return of the Jedi and The Empire Strikes Back poster shipping boxes. Note that our consignor worked for 20th Century-Fox in the early 1980s, and he saved these two shipping cartons (he received the posters in them, but sadly, he sold them long ago!). The box marked "EMPIRE STRIKES BACK" contained 50 of the 1982 re-release one-sheet, and the box marked "Blue Harvest" contained 50 of the very first Return of the Jedi one-sheets (when it had the "Revenge of the Jedi" title). He kept them all these years, and we are auctioning them now! Please bear in mind that they will need to be sent in a large box that contains the two boxes, so bear this added shipping expense in mind before bidding.

Of course, Star Wars is an epic space opera franchise created by George Lucas in 1977. The first film in the series, Star Wars (which was later subtitled Episode IV: A New Hope) was released in 1977 and became a worldwide phenomenon. It was followed by The Empire Strikes Back in 1980, and Return of the Jedi in 1983 (these three films are considered "the original trilogy"). The "prequel trilogy" (The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones & The Revenge of the Sith) was released between 1999 and 2005. In 2012, The Walt Disney Company acquired Lucasfilm and they began to release new Star Wars films including: The Force Awakens, Rogue One, The Last Jedi, Solo and more! The series has spawned books, television series, video games, comic books, toys, and many other products.
