An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Coogan's Bluff, the 1968 Don Siegel New York City police crime melodrama ("Clint Eastwood gives New York 24 hours... to get out of town!"; "A man with no fear takes on a killer with no pity in a city with no heart!"; "Story by Herman Miller"; about a western cop in New York City) starring Clint Eastwood (in the title role as Coogan), Susan Clark, Don Stroud, Tisha Sterling, Betty Field, Lee J. Cobb, and Melodie Johnson. Note that the character that Eastwood plays in this movie bears a lot of resemblance to his later Dirty Harry, and that this movie was the inspiration for the TV series "McCloud"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster was originally tri-folded only. There was a 1" x 2 1/2" area of paper loss at the middle of the vertical foldline extending into the bottom of the letters "R" and "S" of "UNIVERSAL". There were tiny tears and tiny surface paper loss at the center of each foldline and there were some smudges in the solid dark areas of the poster. There were some smudges and faint stains around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer did not do the best touch up to the paper loss in the center of the bottom of the poster. Learn More about condition grades
