An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 45 3/4" x 61 1/4" [116 x 156 cm]) (Learn More)

Guitare au Poing (literally translates to "Guitar In the Fist"), the 1973 Daniel Szuser French rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) music documentary featuring Leonard Cohen (the famous composer/singer/poet, probably best known for his songs "Hallelujah" and "Suzanne"), Johnny Winter (the famous blues musician), Mungo Jerry, Pete Brown, and narrated by Cuetan Herce and Jacques Higelin. Apparently the poster was originally intended to be called "a cause du pop", because the French one-panel poster has that title printed on it, but a distributor glued a very large title change snipe over that area with the new title of "Guitare au poing". If anyone knows more about this or anything else about the movie (like why the central figure bears a striking resemblance to Adolf Hitler!), please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Artist: Benjamin Baltimore
Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this French movie!

Condition: very good. The poster has a large studio-issued title change snipe . Otherwise, the poster has only minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
