An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10 1/4" [21 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Rex Beach's A Sainted Devil, the 1924 Joseph Henabery silent Argentina mistaken identity romantic melodrama ("From the story 'Rope's End'" by Rex Beach; about a nobleman who is about to marry a woman he has never met, and then an evil man kidnaps her, and the nobleman goes after her, but sees a woman in a bridal gown embracing the evil man, and he thinks it is his bride, so he leaves and swears off all women, but after leading a dissolute life, he discovers he was tricked, and his bride is in a convent, and he kills the evil man!) starring Rudolph Valentino, Nita Naldi, Helena D'Algy, Dagmar Godowsky, and Jean Del Val. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that there are white areas in the corners that look like they COULD be a defect of some sort, but they are NOT. They exist on stills from silent films that have this sort of black border around the edges. It appears that stills of this sort were made by actually blowing up a frame of film, and perhaps those white areas are some sort of sprocket holes. In any event, they are contained within the printing and are not any sort of defect! Condition: good to very good. There is faint scuffing throughout the emulsion, but it is mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light.
