Important Added Info: Note that, due to the extraordinary success of this movie, Star Wars was brought back to theaters in 1981 for an additional special showing. New one-sheets were created for this re-release, with a tagline across the middle that reads "The Force Will Be With You For" (the U.S. posters read "The Force Will Be With You For Two Weeks Only", but Australian theaters obviously were showing it for more than two weeks, so they printed their posters without the last half of that tagline). Note that this special "all Star Wars" auction began with a phone call from a VERY long time collector of Star Wars posters! He told us that he had reached a point in his life where he was wanting to sell his collection, and he asked if we could do it all at one time. Because he had 174 posters (including many of the most rare and desirable ones), we were happy to comply, but we told him that we would like to also add additional rare Star Wars posters from other collectors, and he agreed, and after we were consigned an additional 117 posters and related items, we have our auction! This item is one of the additional 117 items that we were consigned from other collectors. They REALLY came through with wonderful additional items that really add to the overall auction!
