Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More) Rough and Ready, the 1918 Richard Stanton silent cowboy western melodrama starring William Farnum (billed as "America's Most Popular Actor"), Violet Palmer, Alphonse Ethier, Jessie Arnold, and David Higgins NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This poster has been professionally linenbacked. It now looks great, and most dealers would describe it as "fine (or mint) on linen". We have noted the defects that were restored below (and feel everyone should always do this!). Many collectors would not be aware of the restoration this poster has had unless it was specifically shown to them! Condition: good to very good. This poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. It appears to have had the following defects: there were several tears across the center of the poster including some in Farnum's cheeks. The blank borders of the poster were very tattered, slightly going into the edges of the image, but really having little effect on the image and titles. The defects were mostly corrected during the linenbacking process, but you can still see evidence of the defects when you look close up. But from any distance away, the poster looks nice (but you can see some of the border restoration even from a distance). Learn More about condition grades
