An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded French Large Movie Poster (31x47; measures 31 1/4" x 47 1/4" [79 x 120 cm]) (Learn More) Little Lord Fauntleroy, the 1936 John Cromwell England royalty family relationship melodrama ("From the world famous story by Frances Hodgson Burnett"; produced by David O. Selznick; about a young American boy who finds out he is the heir to an English title, and he is sent with his crusty old grandfather, but over time, they develop a loving relationship) starring Freddie Bartholomew (in the title role as Little Lord Fauntleroy; billed as "Star of 'David Copperfield'"), Dolores Costello (billed as "Dolores Costello Barrymore"), C. Aubrey Smith, Mickey Rooney, Guy Kibbee, Henry Stephenson, Jackie Searl, and Una O'Connor. Note that there were a number of movie adaptations based on this famous novel, and the best remembered one other than this version was the 1921 version where Mary Pickford played the title character, even though he was a boy!
