An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (measures 14" x 22") (Learn More) Hellcats of the Navy, the 1957 Nathan Juran World War II (WWII) Naval military submarine thriller ("Down... down... down... ...into enemy waters with the fightin' hellcats of the U.S. sub pack!"; "No greater glory! No greater story!"; "'This is the story of one of the most daring submarine operations in the history of Naval warfare!' Chester W. Nimitz, First Admiral, U.S. Navy"; "Based on a book by Charles A. Lockwood, Vice-Admiral USN, Ret. and Hans Christian Adamson, Col. USAF, Ret.") starring Ronald Reagan, Nancy Reagan (billed as "Nancy Davis"; this is the only movie she and Ronald made together!), Arthur Franz, Harry Lauter, and Robert Arthur NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this window card has been trimmed and measures 14" x 17" and that it was laminated! Condition: good. The card was laminated. This is an irreversible process. Please do not bid on this card unless you can accept that it has been laminated. Prior to being laminated, the card had a rough fold across the top of the central image with rough creases along the fold. Otherwise, the card was in pretty nice condition prior to lamination! This window card is in "lesser" condition (it is clearly in less than "very good" condition, and may be all the way down to "fair" condition, as we are selling a collection of early window cards that were found inside of a wall, and those all have water stains and other defects, which should be easily seen on our large images)! This window card has clear defects, which are likely to be very noticeable in our "large" or "super-sized" images that you can click on from our small image at right. In addition, we have also noted in words what these defects are in our "Description of Defects" section above, as some of these defects may not be all that visible in the images. We know that some collectors could accept this window card's defects, and display it as is, and we also know that many collectors would only be happy with this window card if they had it restored, so please do not bid on it unless you can accept it as it is, or are willing to pay to have it properly restored. Of course, you should realize that if you do not bid on this window card because of its condition defects, it may be quite some time before you see this window card offered again!
