An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" (8x10) Movie Still (Learn More) Dorothy Jordan was an actress from the 1920s to the 1950s. She was a leading lady in the early 1930s, but she gave it all up after marrying Merian C. Cooper in 1933. She wanted to come out of retirement for Gone with the Wind, and she screen tested for the role of Melanie, but it was not to be. 20 years later, she appeared in three John Ford movies, including The Searchers. She passed away in 1988 at the age of 82. Important Added Info: Note that the still shows a great candid image of Dorothy Jordan at the Sand Gabriel Mission looking at a Mexican cactus! Also note that there is information about the still printed on the back. Also note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4", but it does not appear to be trimmed. Condition: very good.
