An Original Vintage Sideshow Collectibles Premium Format Collectible Figure (measures 9" x 13" x 24" [23 x 33 x 61 cm]) (Learn More)

Captain America is the patriotic Golden Age comic book superhero created by Joe Simon & Jack Kirby in 1941 (at the start of World War II) for Marvel Comics, and he was "revived" in Avengers #4 in 1964. Unlike the vast majority of Golden Age characters that were revived in the 1960s, Marvel Comics did not create a new version of him, but instead had a wild story of him literally being frozen for decades, and he was literally revived as the same character! The Captain America franchise has spread to almost all forms of media including books, television shows, and films. The character is portrayed by Chris Evans in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Important Added Info: Note that this is a Captain America - Allied Charge on Hydra Exclusive Edition Sideshow Collectibles Premium Format Figure! It includes several different displayable options (with exchangeable pieces including gloves and a shield - see our image). It has been hand-numbered on its base and box 456/1000! Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the different poses the character can be configured in. Note: We have 13 images of the items in this set, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 13 images are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 3.

Note that this item needs to be shipped in a box, which might be a fairly small box, or might be a very large box. What is important for the bidders to know is that this item very likely CAN'T be combined with other purchases, because there would not be much savings if any, because this item will be in a box with substantial depth (because the item is "three-dimensional"), while other purchases will be in a flat package, and trying to combine them would likely damage this item. If you purchase multiple items like this (ones that need to be packed in a box), then they likely can be combined with each other (unless the resulting box is simply too large). So please bear in mind that this item likely must be sent separately in a box (the size and depth of the box will depend on the size of the item), and bear this added expense in mind before placing a bid on it (so if you would pay $150 for the item, but the shipping is likely $100, then only bid $50 for the item).

Condition: very good. The box has some general wear but the majority of the pieces are in very nice condition (of course some have "faux distress" so please bear that in mind.) However, please note that the piece with his hand holding the machine gun has had the hand break away from the gun at one time and that was repaired with glue (it can be seen in our main image as a small area that "shines" near the trigger). Otherwise, the very large figure is in nice condition and it displays quite well in its numerous display options.
