An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 47 1/4" x 63" [120 x 160 cm]) (Learn More)

Les Dalton en cavale (released in English-speaking countries as "Lucky Luke: The Daltons on the Run"), the 1983 William Hanna & Joseph Barbera (Hanna-Barbera) French/U.S. Lucky Luke animated animation cowboy western comedy cartoon featuring the voices of Jacques Balutin (in the title role as Lucky Luke), Roger Carel, Marion Game, Bernard Haller, Gerard Hernandez, and Perrette Pradier. Hanna-Barbera had bought the rights to "The Smurfs", a Belgian comic, and had great success presenting them to U.S. audiences, so they looked for other European comic characters to buy the rights on! One of those was "Lucky Luke", who had appeared in a 1978 French movie. They bought the rights, and created a U.S. cartoon TV show. Ironically, these proved very popular in France, and they took three of the episodes and released them in France under this title, but it is solely a compilation of three episodes of the U.S. TV show, which was based on the original French character!
