An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Hi, Nellie!, the 1934 Mervyn LeRoy newspaper journalism editor crime embezzlement comedy ("Paul Muni, America's greatest dramatic star in a characterization you'll love"; about a newspaper editor who helps a friend who is accused of embezzlement from a bank by not accusing him in the newspaper stories, and that causes the editor to be demoted to writing the 'Nellie Nelson' lonely hearts column, but to his surprise, he finds he likes the work, and he makes it very successful, but in the end, he finds the true embezzler and regains his position!) starring Paul Muni, Glenda Farrell, Ned Sparks, Robert Barrat, George Meeker, and Berton Churchill NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass.
