An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Maisie Gets Her Man, the 1942 Roy Del Ruth romantic comedy ("Roar with Red Skelton in the funniest Maisie hit of all!"; "Original story by Betty Reinhardt and Ethel Hill"; the sixth in the popular Maisie Ravier series) starring Ann Sothern (in the title role as Maisie Ravier), Red Skelton ("I Dood It!"), Leo Gorcey (in a rare non-Bowery Boys/Dead End Kids role!), Allen Jenkins, Donald Meek, Lloyd Corrigan, Walter Catlett, and Fritz Feld. Note that Red Skelton's image on the advertising for this movie has his trademark phrase "I DOOD IT!" next to his mouth! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass.
