An Original Vintage Theatrical International Movie Title Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) I Malamondo (released in the U.S. as "Malamondo"), the 1964 Paolo Cavara Italian sexploitation documentary ("Way-Out"; "The eccentrics, the anguished, the confused taking off! A ride on this wide, wild world..."; "Way-out youth...searching for a way out!"; "A frenzied, frantic, fantastic ride on this wide, wild, WORLD!"; "The thrill generation..") narrated by Marvin Miller and featuring death-defying motorcyclists, wild orgies, naked skydiving, and other weird things. Note that this was one of the approximately 100 "sexy nocturne" mondo style documentaries that were produced between 1959 and 1970, mainly in Italy. They are documentaries that include segments of strippers, which allowed them to include nudity that had formerly only been seen in nudist movies. The strippers are shown performing their acts, and there was an attempt to film them artistically. Most of these films contain one or more of the words "world", "night", "sexy", "girls", etc. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a poster or lobby card that was printed by MGM for a European movie that they distributed in the U.S.. Somewhere in the early 1960s, MGM apparently made a huge "trade" deal with European movie distributors. From the early 1960s to the late 1960s, MGM released 100 or more non-U.S. movies in the U.S. under the MGM logo (some dating back to the 1950s), and in return, they apparently gave 100 or more MGM movies (from the 1950s and early 1960s) to those European distributors to release in Europe. All of the posters from both sets of releases have a very similar type of somewhat garish, very colorful artwork, and some have an MGM logo that is different from than on other MGM movies of the same time period, which makes it likely that those (with different logos) are from re-releases. None of these posters (except for the very first few of them) have any dates on them. Over the years, I have seen many of these posters (from both types) sold as first release, but, as stated above, some of these are mid to late 1960s re-releases, and the ones from U.S. movies are "international" posters (or lobby cards) that were used in non-U.S. countries.
