An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81" [104 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) Tribute to a Bad Man, the 1956 Robert Wise romantic cattle baron cowboy western ("Screen Story and Screen Play by Michael Blankfort"; "Based on a short story by Jack Schaefer", who was also the author of "Shane"; sort of a western film noir; the central character is not very likeable at all!) starring James Cagney ("His Newest and Greatest role!"), Don Dubbins, Stephen McNally, Vic Morrow, Irene Papas (billed as "Introducing Irene Papas"), and Lee Van Cleef NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tiny paper loss at several crossfolds, with some small tears and smudges on parts of many folds. It also had many pinholes around the edges. It had some grease pencil writing on the back of the upper right that bled through to the front in the bottom of the "A" of "CAGNEY" and the background below it. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
