Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) The Naughty Nineties, the 1945 Jean Yarbrough historical gambling screwball comedy ("Who's on First? Hear Abbott and Costello Tell Their Famous 'Baseball' story!"; about card sharks taking over a Mississippi riverboat and trying to convert it into a gambling casino) starring Bud Abbott ("Bud '23 Skidoo' Abbott"), Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello; "Lou 'Oh You Kid' Costello"), Alan Curtis, Rita Johnson, Henry Travers, Lois Collier, Joe Sawyer, Adelaide De Lapp, and Billy Ward. Note that some of the posters for this movie depict Abbott and Costello in baseball uniforms, with the tagline "WHO'S ON FIRST? Hear Abbott and Costello tell their famous 'BASEBALL' STORY!", and this is the only first release Abbott and Costello movie that has posters that feature them performing this most classic routine (the compilation film, "World of Abbott & Costello", also has posters that depict them performing this routine). Important Added Info: NOTE: In this case, the #2 in the title of this sale is not the number of the lobby card (whenever we know the number of a lobby card we list it for those of you who know which scenes you are looking for). In this case, the cards from this particular set were un-numbered, but because we are selling more than one card from this set this week as separate eBay sales, we needed to differentiate between the sales, and we did so by marking them "#2, #3, etc. (Note that we do not use #1, because this is commonly used to signify the title card). We are also selling a title card and another lobby card from this movie elsewhere on eBay this week. Condition: very good to fine. There are two very tiny tears in the blank borders. There are very minor creases and smudges in the blank borders.. Note that this lobby card is one of a collection of 38 excellent Abbott and Costello lobby cards eMoviePoster is selling this week on eBay! This collection was assembled by a collector over many years. It includes original and re-issue cards, but almost every card is in very nice condition, and is one of the better scenes from that movie. The reason there are re-issues included is because the re-issues for Abbott and Costello movies often contain far better shots of them than do the original lobby cards.
