(also released as "Barry Mahon's Story of 8 Girls"), the 1964 Barry Mahon sexploitation modeling movie ("How to undress in front of a camera!"; "Adults, only!"; "All about the making of a nude model"; "Prettiest girls in the world! ...And boy, are they stacked!"; "You've never seen such a corporate image!"; "Skinemascope in revealing color"; "The true story of the girls who pose in the nude!") starring Darlene Bennett, Dawn Bennett, and Gigi Darlene. Note that director Barry Mahon had a fascinating life that could fill several movies! He was an American pilot for England in World War II and he was shot down and put in a POW camp, and he escaped and was the basis for the Steve McQueen character in the movie "The Great Escape" (Mahon also loved motorcycles). He became Errol Flynn's pilot and later Errol Flynn's manager. He then made many sexploitation "nudie cuties" movies in the 1950s and 1960s, but at the end of his career, he made a drastic shift, and made several children's movies (perhaps he found religion?). Important Added Info: Note that in recent months we auctioned a collection of sexploitation one-sheets that included many rare titles from a single collector, and last month we auctioned the last of that collection. NOW, we have been consigned a different collection which includes even more very rarely seen titles! In this set of auctions we auctioned the first group of one-sheet from this new collection, and there are 132 different ones(all are in separate auctions), and they include a number of posters that we have only auctioned once or twice before. There are also a number with great images or taglines. This is an excellent opportunity to add one or more of these rare one-sheets to your collection, and, like the previous collection we auctioned, this consignor also only had one of each title, so on the rare ones, it may be quite some time before we offer the same title again! Condition: fair to good. The poster was separated at the right half of the bottom horizontal fold with some small paper loss in that area. Someone put tape on the back of that area, and it darkened and left yellow stains in that area which have somewhat bled-through to the front. The tape is mostly no longer there and the area is once again completely separated. There are also small areas of paper loss in the right of the top horizontal fold with small paper loss at the top and bottom crossfolds. Obviously this poster can be greatly improved through restoration, but bear in mind its condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it. Learn More about condition grades
