Paul McCartney and John Lennon were flying a chartered plane (of course, along with Ringo and George), and the news director of WFUN Miami radio, Larry Kane, was on the plane with them, and he gave day to day live reports on their activities (and he was the only radio newsman they allowed to go with them on their nationwide tour).
