An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Belgian Movie Poster (measures 14 1/2" x 21 1/2" [37 x 55 cm]) (Learn More) Les Sacrifiees (literally translates to "The Sacrificed"), the 1960s Japanese crime melodrama. Since there are no credits, it is difficult to know what movie this is from, but since we know "Shintohoscope" was a process used around 1960 to 1965, this narrows the possibilities quite a bit. The movie looks interesting, because it has some military officer grabbing a pretty woman, with nurses being attacked as well. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Artist: R. Coppel Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was folded down the middle, with some creases, scuffs, small tears, and tiny paper loss on that foldline. There were some tiny pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster. Learn More about condition grades
