An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Sunset on the Desert, the 1942 Joseph Kane singing cowboy western starring Roy Rogers, George 'Gabby' Hayes, Lynne Carver, Frank M. Thomas, Beryl Wallace, The Sons of the Pioneers, and Trigger (who was not yet billed on first release posters in this early Roy Rogers film). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had tears and small areas of paper loss scattered in the top half of the vertical fold, with a lesser amount on the rest of the folds. It had small paper loss in the "N" of "SUNSET" and in the right of the middle fold. It had some tears and small paper loss in the borders. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was backed with no restoration at all (see our image). Another restorer could perform restoration to this, either with or without re-backing the poster. Learn More about condition grades
