The director of this cartoon had worked for Walt Disney, and he went off on his own because he wanted to make his own cartoons. He found a backer in Harding College (now Harding University), which financed cartoons about economic theory, which they showed in their college economics classes, and which also were released to the general public by MGM! This particular cartoon explains that American capitalism makes every man a "King", because even a factory worker is able to afford all kinds of wonderful new inventions like the latest cars and appliances! Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the top crossfold and some minor wear on the foldlines. It had some small tears and tiny paper loss in the blank borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
