A 1944 Re-Release Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Frisco Kid, the 1935 Lloyd Bacon San Francisco California waterfront gambling casino romantic crime thriller ("With a blast of dynamite... he rocks the bloody cradle of modern gangdom!"; about a tough sailor who is shanghaied to San Francisco's notorious Barbary Coast, and he rises to where he runs a major casino, but he is unable to win the woman of his dreams) starring James Cagney, Margaret Lindsay, Ricardo Cortez, Lili Damita, Donald Woods, Barton MacLane, George E. Stone, Addison Richards, Joe Sawyer, and Fred Kohler NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we always knew this classic James Cagney was re-released during World War II when Warner Bros' top stars were away at war, and they re-released a lot of their classics from the 1930s. But in the past, collectors had told us that this re-release was from 1942. However, we have auctioned the re-release pressbook, which displays all those re-release posters, and it is clearly dated "1944", so it was 1944 when they re-released this movie, which is why we know this item to be from 1944! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
