Glamour!"; based on the classic book of the same name by L. Note that MGM was worried about how well this movie would do at the box office, and they did something we don't remember seeing on any other major movie advertising! One of the taglines says "Biggest sensation since Snow White", which means MGM was advertising a Walt Disney movie, but that shows just how worried they were! Of course, they needn't have worried, because this was a timeless classic that has only improved with age. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this English card game is undated, but it is quite likely that it was created in 1939 or 1940, during the movie's first release in England (especially given the paper shortages in England during and after the war, and we think it unlikely it would have been made after the war). The game includes 44 cards with full-color images from the film, a rules card with printing on both sides, and a box with a full-color image on one side, and printing on all sides. The 44 cards all have the same pattern image on the reverse, making them like a deck of playing cards. We would be surprised if many of these games survive, especially with the complete original box!
