Rachel Field's Time Out of Mind, the 1947 Robert Siodmak ("Produced and Directed by Robert Siodmak who directed 'The Dark Mirror' and 'The Killers'") family conflict romantic melodrama ("Chained to a man she dare not love!"; "From the Great Novel by Rachel Field author of 'All This and Heaven Too'"; about the son of a wealthy shipping magnate who decides to pursue a career in music rather than in the family business, upsetting his family to no end) starring Phyllis Calvert, Robert Hutton, Ella Raines, Eddie Albert, Leo G. Carroll, Helena Carter, and John Abbott. Note that English Phyllis Calvert made her American debut in this movie!

Note that this item (and others we are auctioning in this set of auctions) come to us from the estate of Lee Sanders. Mr. Sanders was a nationally recognized projectionist, film poster collector, and union activist who passed away earlier this year, and the net proceeds from the sale of his varied and eclectic collection will be donated to promote film studies at the Besant School of Happy Valley in Ojai, Ca.

Condition: fair to good. There are many creases, several tears, and some areas of tiny paper loss along the foldlines that were on the outside when the poster was fully folded. There are some creases, smudges, and tiny tears on some foldlines, and some tiny paper loss at some crossfolds. There are pinholes and tiny paper loss around the edges.
