Resistol Hats is a manufacturer of premium hats that was founded in Texas in 1927. In 1938, the company moved to Garland, Texas, where Resistol hats continue to be manufactured today. Among the celebrities who have worn Resistol hats are actors John Wayne, Ronald Reagan, Henry Fonda, President Lyndon Johnson, the Dallas Cowboys Tom Landry, and many more!

Important Added Info: Note that this is a really cool special promo package! It consists of a mailing envelope that contains a faux giant Western Union telegram (which measures 18" x 22", as well as a promo brochure containing newspaper ads, and six 8" x 10" stills (three deluxe and three regular), which show top actors of the day Ronald Reagan (there are two with him!), George Brent, Dennis Morgan, Jeffrey Lynn, and Regis Toomey modeling Resistol hats! Obviously, this package was sent to stores that sold Resistol hats and they could post the giant telegram on their window and post the stills as well, and take out newspaper ads using the promo brochure's ads! We doubt very many of these survive, especially complete sets like this. Note: We have 11 images of the items in this set, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 11 images are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 1.

Condition: very good to fine. The outer envelope has some wear, but everything else is in great condition!
