The theater owners would either hand-write the titles of the specific movie they were showing, or the movie information for a specific movie would be overprinted in the blank area. We have only seen this stock poster in the six-sheet size. Note that there was also later 1950s stock posters, but because they are from seven years later, we list them separately. Artist: Glenn Cravath Important Added Info: Note that when Columbia re-released Charles Starrett westerns in 1952, they hired legendary artist Glenn Cravath to create a really striking full-length image of Starrett shooting his gun with a lot going on behind him. They used the same image for all of the 1952 Charles Starrett re-release three-sheet posters, although all of them were printed individually. Note that this three-sheet was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. Condition: good to very good. There is some darkening on the back of the part of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded. There are some creases and several tears along the foldlines that were on the outside when the poster was fully folded. There are some creases, smudges, and tiny tears on some foldlines, and some tiny paper loss at some crossfolds. There are many tiny staple holes around the edges. Learn More about condition grades
