An Original Vintage Theatrical Style B Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Dance of the Vampires (released in the U.S. as "The Fearless Vampire Killers" and "Pardon Me, But Your Teeth Are In My Neck", "Your Teeth in My Neck", and as "The Fearless Vampire Killers Or Pardon Me, But Your Teeth Are In My Neck"), the 1967 Roman Polanski English/U.S. vampire monster horror comedy thriller ("Who says Vampires are no laughing matter?"; "You'll never know what bit you... but you'll love it!") starring Jack MacGowran, Sharon Tate, Roman Polanski, Alfie Bass, Ferdy Mayne (as the vampire shown on the posters!), Jessie Robins, Fiona Lewis, and Terry Downes (the English World Middleweight Boxing Champion, as Koukol, the Servant!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Frank Frazetta Important Added Info: Note that the title and tagline on this poster is printed with a special "dayglo" orange coloring. For some reason, it is incredibly difficult to accurately photograph that with a modern day camera. It often appears to be a more yellow color, but it absolutely has orange dayglo coloring on the title and tagline. Also, note that famous illustrator Frank Frazetta did the fine artwork in the lower half of the image, but we do not know who did the art in the top half of the image. It resembles the art on Italian posters for this movie by Silvano "Nano" Campeggi (but it seems likely that Campeggi based his art on this poster), so we cannot be certain who created the artwork for this part of the poster. If anyone knows for sure (no guessing!), please e-mail us and we will post it here. Finally, note that this poster has "DOMESTIC" at lower right which means it was printed for use within the United States (there would also have been posters stamped "FOREIGN" for use outside the United States). Condition: good to very good. The poster has fine surface paper loss and tiny scuffs on parts of the top and bottom vertical folds with a lesser amount on the other folds. It has 1/2" of separation at the top fold and some slight darkening on the top of the left blank border. There is darkening on the back of the top quarter of the left blank border and on the back of other parts of the top quarter of the left of the poster, because that was the part that was on the outside when it was fully folded, but the darkening does not show through to the front except in the blank border described above. After a relatively simple linenbacking this very desirable poster will display wonderfully but bear the above in mind before bidding on it. Learn More about condition grades
