An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) It's a Sick, Sick, Sick World, the 1965 Antonio Scarpati sexploitation "mondo" drugs-and-sex rape documentary ("Filmed in Rome, Paris, London, Germany and the United States"; an obvious title parody of the recently released 1965 movie "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World") featuring Lucky Kargo, Sammy Petrillo, Jackie Richards, Richard B. Shull, and narrated by Joel Holt. Note that this movie was one of the many, many "mondo" movies made in the years following the massive success of 1962's "Mondo Cane", which showed many strange and disturbing scenes from all over the world (in particular, Italy made many, many of these movies). Many of these showed burlesque theaters and strippers, but this movie went a step further, showing prostitutes and a scene of a man shooting heroin on a public street, and there were also nude scenes, and the movie was partially filmed in the U.S., but it also included scenes from other countries. Movie paper of any kind from this movie is incredibly rare! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned three examples of this rare poster in all our years of auctioning (one from 2019 was reconsigned to us in 2023, and this particular poster [sold in 2017] has been reconsigned to us for this auction, so it is only the second actual example we have ever auctioned!). Note that in recent months we auctioned a collection of sexploitation one-sheets that included many rare titles from a single collector, and last month we auctioned the last of that collection. NOW, we have been consigned a different collection which includes even more very rarely seen titles! In this set of auctions we auctioned the first group of one-sheet from this new collection, and there are 132 different ones(all are in separate auctions), and they include a number of posters that we have only auctioned once or twice before. There are also a number with great images or taglines. This is an excellent opportunity to add one or more of these rare one-sheets to your collection, and, like the previous collection we auctioned, this consignor also only had one of each title, so on the rare ones, it may be quite some time before we offer the same title again! Condition: good to very good. The poster has some brown stains in the right blank corners, in the middle of the right blank border, and two near the middle of the left border, just slightly entering the background. The title was written on the back of the vertical fold between the top and middle crossfolds, and it bleeds through to the front.
