An Original Vintage Unfolded World War II Poster (measures 20" x 27" [51 x 69 cm]) (Learn More)

Gas and Oil for War and Peace, the 1944 U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front poster ("Free workers and privately managed business make it possible") encouraging people to help with the war effort, and featuring C.R. Miller art of men pouring oil and pumping gas with silhouettes of military and civilian vehicles in the background.

Artist: C.R. Miller

Condition: good to very good. There are some creases and tears of varying lengths around the edges of the poster (approx 1 1/2" or less) and there are some areas of paper loss around the edges (more so in the lower edge.) There are a few faint stains in the lower left edge of the poster but overall the poster is in generally nice condition.
