Who will dare?"; the second of the Universal Frankenstein movies, and the only example I am aware of where a sequel is clearly superior to the original movie!; this is James Whale's masterpiece, and almost everyone agrees it is among the finest movies ever made, regardless of genre) starring Boris Karloff (as the Frankenstein monster), Colin Clive (as Dr. Henry Frankenstein), Valerie Hobson (as the bride of Dr. Frankenstein), Elsa Lanchester (in the title role as the bride of the Frankenstein monster, and also as Mary Shelley!), Una O'Connor, Ernest Thesiger (as Dr. Pretorius), E.E. Clive, O.P. Heggie, John Carradine, Dwight Frye (as Karl), Gavin Gordon, and Neil Fitzgerald NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have sold a few Spanish magazines like this (which are basically like U.S. movie adaptation hardcovers, except it is a magazine, and it has 8 pages with many pictures in the center, and a great full-color cover), BUT WE HAVE ONLY AUCTIONED THIS MAGAZINE ONCE BEFORE (and it sold for $421), and that example has now been reconsigned to us, so it is still the only example of this magazine we have auctioned! Also note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine, and pictures of interior two-page spreads (including the table of contents page if there is one; but we didn't make much effort to find the best ones!). These images should greatly help you judge the overall condition of the magazine, and the contents page lets you know exactly what articles and stories are contained in this particular issue. Condition: good. There is tiny paper loss around the edges of the front and back covers. There are a few scuffs and smudges on the cover. Many of the interior pages have light brown stains around the edges. The spine has small loss at the top and bottom. See our many images to get a good sense of the condition of this magazine.
