Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More)

a circa late 1910s glass slide featuring baseball's Chicago Cubs at their spring training in Pasadena, California. Pictured are then-current manager, Fred Mitchel, and their star players, including Vic Saier, Leslie Mann, Cy Williams, and Charley Deal. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).

Condition: very good. As is typical with older glass slides, this slide has no holder, but has black tape around all the edges of the glass. There is light brown stains on the left and right of the glass (not affecting the image). There are dust spots over much o
