An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Style B Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Middle of the Night, the 1959 Delbert Mann old-man-young-woman romantic melodrama ("For every girl who was ever involved with an older man!"; "They came from the opposite ends of desire..."; "'...Everybody else we knew were getting married so this boy and I got married. I guess we just got tired necking in the back of his car. We'd watch television, and around eleven o'clock we'd both march into the bedroom as if it were the gas chamber...'"; "'This pretty little thing wants to marry you, so marry her! How many years you got left in your life so you can afford to throw away even a couple of good ones?'"; "...So we're sitting down to dinner, your father says to me: 'I've been going out with a girl.' So I thought a 45-year-old-girl, a 50-year-old-girl. It comes out it's a 24-year-old-girl. I couldn't eat. I kept my mouth shut. But I was sick.'"; "'Two months after you marry this old man you'll be meeting me at nights anyway. So why bother marrying him?'"; "Screenplay by Paddy Chayefsky Based upon his play presented on Broadway by Joshua Logan") starring Kim Novak, Fredric March, Glenda Farrell, Albert Dekker, Martin Balsam, Lee Grant, and Lee Philips NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been machine folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded once horizontally and once vertically right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded example of most half-sheets, especially from before 1970! Condition: very good. Note that the poster has a very minor printing defect, which is a series of faint light blue lines down the left edge of the left blank border. This was a very minor printing defect that occurred during the printing of these half-sheets, and it is found on many 1950s and early 1960s half-sheets, and few collectors consider it much of a defect at all, because it is in the left edge of the blank border, has no effect on the image, and would likely be on all examples of this half-sheet. NOTE THAT, OTHER THAN THE ABOVE, THIS HALF-SHEET IS IN REALLY WONDERFUL CONDITION! Learn More about condition grades
