An Original Vintage Magazine (measures 10 1/2" x 13 3/4") (Learn More) Screen Guide Photo-Parade ("Hollywood's Only News-Picture Magazine"), one of the many movie magazines sold to the public. Each issue features a great black & white cover of a leading star of the day, plus lots of interior publicity stories about current stars and movies with many black and white images throughout. Note that this magazine is more "image heavy" than similar fan magazines of this time, and that it has all one-color illustrations (though in varying colors), and that it measures larger than most fan magazines. Note that this magazine started off as "Screen Guide and Life" and at some point became "Screen Guide Photo-Parade" and then with the February 1938 issue, the magazine dropped the "Photo-Parade" from the title and simply became "Screen Guide". Then, beginning with the September 1948 issue, the magazine's title changed to "Screen and Television Guide", because of the increasing popularity of TV, but that only lasted a while and then the title reverted back to "Screen Guide".
