If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this set of two large Japanese posters are totally different from anything we have ever seen before! They both measure the same width, but the C-3PO poster is 11 3/4" taller. We have no idea for what purpose they were created, but they certainly are vintage posters, and it seems quite reasonable that they were created in 1977. We are solely identifying them as Japanese posters because they come to us from Japan, but there is no writing of any kind on either poster, so they could come from anywhere (the C-3PO poster has printer marks in the edges, and it may have been intended to be trimmed). We wonder if they were just two posters out of a set (perhaps others show the other main characters?). If anyone knows anything more about these posters, please e-mail us and we will post it here. But please do not bid on these posters unless you can accept the uncertainty about their origin! Condition: very good to fine. The two posters were stored folded with one inside the other, and the C-3PO poster was on the outside, and there is darkening and stains on the back of the part of that poster which was on the outside when it was stored, but they do not affect the front. There are creases and "waves" along the areas where the posters were folded, but otherwise, both posters are in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
