This is the 'Island of Love'"; "That's all, brother!"; "There's a tiny Greek Island where a man can exist with only the barest of necessities..."; "'Island of Love' is full of fun! It's all about two guys who really dig Greece and come up with the Island of Paradeisos, just a bikini's-throw from the Temple of Eros [that's the lovin' end in any language!]"; "It's the place they invented it!") starring Robert Preston ("'The Music Man' is making the kind of music he never made before!"), Tony Randall ("This lover came back... [smart fellow]!"), Georgia Moll ("A body surrounded on all sides - by men!"), Walter Matthau, and Betty Bruce NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills appear in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right of each still. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the stills were printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that they WERE printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So they are original stills from 1977, but they were printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
