An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Sixteen Fathoms Deep, the 1948 Irving Allen underwater ocean scuba diving adventure thriller ("Filmed in startling Ansco color"; "From the American Magazine Story 'Sixteen Fathoms Under' by Eustace L. Adams") starring Arthur Lake, Lon Chaney Jr., Lloyd Bridges, Eric Feldary, Tanis Chandler (a French actress who appeared in some Hollywood movies of the 1940s, but she returned to France and became the French dubbed voice for Hollywood actresses when those movies were shown in France!), John Qualen, and Ian MacDonald. Note that Chaney played Bridges role in the 1934 version of this film. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair. The poster has darkened, has many creases and scuffs scattered throughout, and has much tearing and separation along the foldlines and edges, much of which is repaired with tape from the back. Someone once attempted amateur restoration by filling in area of separation and wear with magic marker and even small pieces of cardboard taped on the back. There are several large tears at upper left repaired with tape from the back.
