In 3 hilarious roles!"; "Based on the book 'Red Alert' by Peter George"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Peter Sellers (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; playing three roles: President Merkin Muffley, Group Captain Lionel Mandrake, and the title role of Dr. Strangelove), George C. Scott (as General Buck Turgidson), Sterling Hayden (as Brigadier General Jack D. Ripper), Keenan Wynn (as Colonel Bat Guano), Slim Pickens (as Major T.J. Artist: Tomi Ungerer Important Added Info: Note that legend has it that this set from this classic movie was so convincing that when Ronald Reagan was elected President, the first thing he did was ask to be shown the "War Room", and he was very disappointed to learn that there was no such place in reality! Condition: good to very good. Each (except the card with the close-up of Sellers which is in very nice condition) has varying amounts of pinholes around the edges. The title card has some torn pinholes at lower right with small paper loss. The war room card has several pinholes around the edges (some are torn or enlarged due to rough removal). The card with Hayden and the machine gun has some pinholes at center. The card with Pickens and the top secret document has an area of paper loss at upper left (see our image). The card with Pickens between the bombs has many scuffs, scratches and some areas of paper loss at right.
