An Original 1964 (from the first release of this movie in Poland) Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Polish Movie Poster (23x33; measures 22 3/4" x 32 3/4" [58 x 83 cm]) (Learn More) Mondo Cane, the classic 1962 (released in the U.S. in 1963) Paolo Cavara, Franco Prosperi & Gualtiero Jacopetti Italian sexploitation bizarre human oddity documentary ("Overpowering, fascinating - often shocking!"; "enter a hundred incredible worlds where the camera has never gone before!"; "A Masterpiece in Film Making"; "All the scenes you will see in this film are true and taken only from life. If often they are shocking it is because there are many astounding and even unbelievable things in this world."; featuring sex orgies, shark attacks, drunken Germans!, and a smoking chicken) narrated by Stefano Sibaldi. This was the very first movie of its kind, and was excellent, but unfortunately, its success spawned a huge number of imitators, most of which were exploitative and pretty worthless! One could make a convincing argument that all of today's "reality" TV owes a huge debt to this movie! Artist: Wojciech Zamecznik Important Added Info: Note that in recent months we started auctioning a wonderful collection of sexploitation one-sheets that includes many extremely rare titles from a single collector, and that collection includes lots of folded one-sheets, but also rolled one-sheets, special posters, and some other posters as well. This month there are 65 different rolled posters (all are in separate auctions), and they include a number of posters that we have only auctioned once or twice before. There are also a number with great images or taglines. This is an excellent opportunity to add one or more of these rare rolled posters to your collection, and this consignor only had one of each title, so on the rare ones, it may be quite some time before we offer the same title again! Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has a few tiny tears in the upper edge with tiny paper loss at upper right, but there is a much larger tear at upper left that has been repaired with tape from the back. It is otherwise in generally nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
