Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had fine surface paper loss and some tiny tears on parts of many folds. It had a diagonal tear running through the woman's face at lower right. It had numbers written on the back of the top center that bled through to the front and a stamp on the back of the top right that bled through to the front. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. After the poster was backed, it acquired tiny bits of surface paper loss in the right of Brando's chest (see our image).
