Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14 1/4" x 17 3/4" [36 x 45 cm]. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). The poster also had an extra horizontal fold, with creases, tears, and paper loss on parts of those folds and scattered in other parts of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
