An Original Vintage Circus Souvenir Program Book (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm]; 40 pages) (Learn More)

Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey, the 1963 program book promoting the 1963 circus tour, including great images of the clowns, trapeze artists, and clowns featured in the show! Note that this circus would leave the U.S. in the winter months and tour Europe, and this program book was printed in Germany, but it is entirely in English. If anyone knows more about this program, please e-mail us and we will post it here. The modern version of the circus started in 1919 when the Barnum & Bailey's Greatest Show on Earth, a circus created by P. T. Barnum and James Anthony Bailey, was merged with the Ringling Bros. World's Greatest Shows. With weakening attendance and high operating costs, the circus closed on May 21st, 2017 after 146 years.
