MGM 1943 Studio Portrait, the 1943 still featuring MGM stars of the day (including Katharine Hepburn. Spencer Tracy, William Powell, Lucille Ball, Mickey Rooney, and many more) as well as studio boss, Louis B. Mayer. here. A knowledgeable collector tells us that this photo was taken for the 20th Anniversary of MGM Studios and ran as a centerpiece story in LIFE magazine's September 23, 1943 issue.

Important Added Info: Note that this wonderful group portrait shows all the top stars of MGM in the early 1940s, including a large statue of an Oscar. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock.
