Bellissima (literally translates to "Beautiful"), the 1951 (released in the U.S. in 1953) Luchino Visconti Italian mother-daughter-relationship movie acting melodrama (about an obsessed stage mother who wants to make her young child a star, at any price; this movie is just as timely today as it was 56 years ago!) starring Anna Magnani, Walter Chiari, Tina Apicella, Gastone Renzelli, and Tecla Scarano
