Potter singing-and-dancing musical romantic comedy (a wacky story of a college student who is in his seventh year, so that he can keep up the carefree college life while working in a band, but then he meets a pretty secretary and falls for her, and when she gets a job in Artie Shaw's band, the student quits college and he and his partner go to New York City to try to join Artie Shaw's band, so he can be with the girl!) starring Fred Astaire, Paulette Goddard, Artie Shaw and His Band, Charles Butterworth, and Burgess Meredith. Note that the plot of this movie was pretty weak, obviously just a vehicle to allow for lots of singing and dancing, but it was made even weaker by having 41 year old Fred Astaire playing a college student! But the movie is still enjoyable and entertaining, and the real life Artie Shaw and his band play themselves! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some minor wear on the folds. It had slight darkening in the edges of the blank borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
