An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81" [104 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) The Colossus of New York, the 1958 Eugene Lourie New York City robot-with-a-human-brain science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("Based on a story by Willis Goldbeck") starring John Baragrey, Mala Powers, Otto Kruger, Robert Hutton, Ross Martin, Charles Herbert (as the small boy), and Ed Wolff (in the title role as the Colossus!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and many creases, tears, scuffs, and tiny paper loss on parts of some foldlines. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, and at some point after it was backed, it was roughly handled, and there are now very noticeable creases and scuffs in the top right corner in the background area (see our image).
